Charlie W. Stewart is the Senior Vice President of Cressida Capital. Mr. Stewart manages a team of business development officers in the West. Mr. Stewart also sits on the Cressida Capital credit committee with direct financing oversight. 

In the past, he successfully closed financing transactions for the following market sectors, including: land acquisition, multi-housing debt and construction financing, land and property development, mini storage facilities debt and construction financing, chemical plant construction, food production and processing, churches, condo conversions, casinos, retail and shopping center, hotels and resorts, golf courses and country clubs.

Mr. Stewart started in commercial real estate and finance with Rockland Commercial in 2001. At Rockland Commercial, he became an integral part of the commercial lending division and was successful in setting up multiple correspondent lending relations for commercial lending and specifically SBA direct lending facilities. He was also responsible for setting up internal underwriting and managing the internal underwriting process. Rockland Commercial was acquired by Platinum Capital in 2005 where he continued in the commercial finance division. Mr. Stewart received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, California.
